As many of the new Microsoft Windows applications are developed using .NET Framework, it is becoming mandatory to install .NET Framework on our personal computers. Microsoft provides .NET Framework installer as a free download available to everyone. But it is an online installer. That means, initially we have to download a small piece of installer and upon starting the installation process the installer automatically connects to Microsoft servers and downloads the required components and completes the installation.

The online installers works great as long as we have internet connectivity always. But many of us required offline installer to install the software on computers not connected to internet, to save the bandwidth while installing on many computers, etc.

Sinopsis :

Cerita film ini adalah versi resmi pemerintah Orde Baru tentang peristiwa yang terjadi pada malam 30 September dan pagi 1 Oktober 1965 di Jakarta. Pada malam dan pagi hari itu terjadi pergolakan politik di Indonesia yang kemudian berujung pada pergantian rezim dari Soekarno ke Soeharto. Pihak Orde Baru di bawah pimpinan Soeharto mengatakan bahwa Partai Komunis Indonesia melakukan pemberontakan yang kemudian digagalkan oleh Soeharto sendiri. Inilah yang menjadi dasar film tersebut.

Sampai hari ini masih banyak orang yang mempertentangkan kebenaran hal tersebut dan topik ini masih diselimuti banyak kontroversi dan rahasia.

Pemerintahan Soeharto kemudian memerintahkan satu-satunya stasiun televisi di Indonesia saat itu, TVRI, untuk menayangkan film ini setiap tahun pada tanggal 30 September malam. Pada saat stasiun-stasiun televisi swasta bermunculan, mereka juga dikenai kewajiban yang sama. Peraturan ini kemudian dihapuskan pada tahun 1998 dan sejak saat itu film ini belum pernah lagi diputar di stasiun televisi Indonesia.

Sang Pemimpi menceritakan masa remaja Ikal, anak keluarga pekerja rendahan di Perusahaan Negara timah di Pulau Belitong. Bersama sepupunya, Arai dan Jimbron, sahabatnya, Arai melanjutkan sekolah menengah atas sampai ke Pelabuhan Manggar yang berjarak puluhan kilometer dari tempat tinggal mereka.

Kehidupan mereka yang menyewa kamar dekat bioskop yang menayangkan film-film untuk orang dewasa membuat Ikal, Arai dan Jimbron menjalani hidup serta tumbuh besar bersama dengan segala tantangan dan perjuangan hidup plus problematika masa remaja untuk meraih cita-cita dan impian. Semangat guna meraih tersebut kian terlecut ketika seorang guru memberikan mereka inspirasi untuk mengejar mimpi.

Balia, adalah salah satu guru di sana yang mampu membakar semangat Ikal dkk untuk bermimpi suatu saat mereka dapat menjelajah Eropa dan belahan dunia lainnya, tak peduli keadaan Ikal, Arai dan Jimbron yang saat itu ditilik secara ekonomi, mimpi itu mustahil rasanya. Tapi di saat yang sama, mereka harus menghadapi Pak Mustar yang sangat disiplin dan keras. Bertolak belakang dengan sikap Balia, Pak Mustar tak menolerir kesalahan apa pun, baginya setiap anak yang salah harus dihukum.

Dalam meraih mimpi, muncul persoalan lain. Tak sekedar masalah sekolah tapi juga cinta. Cinta Arai yang tak tertahankan pada Zakiah Nurmala dan Jimbron yang pula jatuh hati pada gadis pemurung pekerja pabrik cincau bernama Laksmi. Sementara Ikal, gairah mudanya membawa dirinya ke perasaan bersalah terhadap bapaknya yang sangat membanggakan dirinya sedari kecil.

Tetapi karena rasa bersalah itu membuat Ikal bangkit guna meraih mimpi. Satu per satu simpul kehidupan mereka buka, cita-cita, harapan dan cinta. Namun ketika gelar sarjana sudah diraih tiba-tiba Arai menghilang. Tinggallah Ikal sendirian mengadu nasib mengejar mimpi. Akankah mimpi itu tercapai tanpa kehadiran Arai?
